Stewardship at SPC is about following biblical truth and honoring and worshiping God with our resources.

Each year we spend time talking about worshiping God with those resources, which include our time, talents and finances. For 2015 we are looking at how God will use us through the ministries of SPC as we reach out in the name of Christ to those around us who need help both physically and spiritually in our community and the world.

"Generous - Christ our indescribable gift" is our theme for this time of partnership with the gospel as we commit a portion of the resources God gives us for the coming year. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8, 15 - "6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 15 Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!" Let's all pray that we will prayerfully follow God's leadership as as we commit to worship Him by supporting the outreach of our church.

This year our Stewardship Committment Sunday is October 26. Be sure to attend on that Sunday and prayerfully consider how you will commit your resources in the coming year through your regular giving. Bring your filled out giving card as we will present them as an offering to God at the end of the service.
