Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child:
Pack a Shoebox, Make an Eternal Impact

Join in SPC’s church-wide mission project to support Operation Christmas Child. This simple opportunity invites each of us to be Christ’s hands and feet around the world. A Christmas shoebox given through Samaritan’s Purse can change a child’s life forever. Time and again, these small gifts are making an eternal impact on children in dire circumstances.

Hear some of these miraculous stories and watch kids receive shoeboxes at www.operationchistmaschild.org.

This year we are going to be collecting throughout the month of October. Below you will find ways in which you can help!

1. Bring Items Each Week

October 2 – toys (stuffed animals, balls, Slinkey, jump ropes)
October 9 – hygiene (toothbrush, bars of soap, combs)
October 16 – art supplies (markers, crayons, colored pencils, coloring books)
October 23  – accessories (jewelry, sunglasses, hair accessories, barrettes)
October 30 - $7 donation

2. Pack your own shoebox

3. Join us at the Packing Party on Thursday, November 10th from 6:00pm-8:00pm

Our goal this year is to collect 1000 shoeboxes to be sent all over the world! Please contact Drew Hoopingarner at dhoopingarner@southportpc.org or 534-2900 with any questions.
